I didn't recive my REWARD for Xbox Game Pass Goal Turn back the clock from November.

Turn back the clock?

Whats MS doing thats worse than the other two big companies? Sony has online passes with their first party games. Last time I checked MS doesn't do this. Nintendo rehashes the same franchises ad naseum, yet because they are the big N they get a pass.
I mean they've released the same basic game(Pokemon) for 10 plus years. Sometimes releasing two versions so you have to buy both to get all the characters. Im not saying MS doesn't do some questionable practices, but so does almost every other company in
the industry. To look at MS and say they are the reason for the state of the industry is ridiculous. Especially when gamers are just as much to blame for those tactics as the companies that use them. Everybody claims they want new IP's yet when they come
no one buys them. They complain about online passes when those wouldn't even exist if people supported the devs instead of buying used all the time. They used to beg for more content and now that DLC is a regular practice its looked at like a money grab.
They complain about the cost of games, yet ignore that games development costs significantly more than it did ten years ago and the price of a game is still the same as it was then. We are entitled, plain and simple, and that is why the industry sits where
it does now.

Good point, but I'll still take the previous console generation over the current one (better games overall, even if they didn't look as nice), maybe back to the earlier days of the 360 before all the stuff THEOWENKILLER mentioned started getting out of hand.
Even then, the 360 was the first and only console I've ever had that broke/developed overheating problems just from moderate use over the course of a couple years. I mean, my Sega Saturn from the mid 90s still runs flawlessly to this day, for Pete's sake!

Now excuse me while I'll play a variety of exclusives on the Wii and Playstation 3 while I have nothing to care for on the 360 and watch as Xbox Live slowly loses it's point of subscription when PSN is free and I can get a a lot of bonus for being a plus member.

i buy most my games new but i still don't agree with online pass. it is trait of a scummy company hence the fact both ea and sony do it

And I was thinking more along the lines of how certain forms of entertainment don't really relate well to future generations (books seem to be an exception...). How many people enjoy old black and white movies? Or silent films? How many people enjoy the
same music their grandparents listened to? And vice versa. How many older generations don't enjoy current trends, just because it's not what they grew up with, and got accustomed to?
