    Hello, I recently bought the Xbox game pass and the only games I have been able to play is ark survival and some other games on the site that I don't want. Whenever I want to play games such as ASTRONEER, it just asks me to install on my devices, then
    I click on my device name and then It says that I need to clear up space or set it to instant update to install it on my XBOX, I don't have an Xbox and I want to install it on my pc, please help.

    Oh my bad, I would check to make sure your PC and companion app is fully updated and try installing again. Also how many months game pass do you have left? Because it can be upgraded to game pass ultimate for $1/£1 and it will convert all remaining months.
    And you will have more games 100+, and access to console library (if you do get a console), plus Xbox gold is included in ultimate. then you could try installing Astroneer through the Beta app instead? Here's the link if you want to take a look.

    Hello!that's strange since it's a play anywhere title. Remember that xbox game pass works only partially with pc and only for play-anywhere titles. Is your Windows updated?

    If I recall correctly I believe the app rollout is being deployed in phases, I think it just hasn't been rolled out to your console yet.

    I understand the problem now, however whenever I try to install the new xbox pc app it says my pc is "Not quite ready" for it to be downloaded, I checked my windows and its all up to date. so I have no idea why I can't install that.

    I am now considering it to be impossible to play xbox games on pc for me anymore.
    You need windows update 1903 on your machine to use the app. You can force the update by going to https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10ISO and
    installing it from there.
