Xbox Game Pass free month for signing up for rewards - not received

I received an email on Mar 2 stating that if I signed up for Rewards I would receive a month's Xbox Game Pass. Having followed the instructions in the link there is no sign of this month in my Xbox account.

Xbox Support chat have directed me here.

Please advise.

You get the free month for signing up to the Microsoft Rewards program, not the Xbox Rewards Program. If you signed up for the Microsoft Rewards program and did not receive the pass, you'll need to contact their customer support
via their redemption page.

 

Xbox rewards game pass offer

A few days ago, a promotion was on my home page that indicated that if I were to sign up for Microsoft rewards, I would get a free month of Xbox game pass. I signed up for the program, but never received my free month.

 

For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you'll need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. The Xbox Rewards Program is not the same.

 

The chat agent insisted they were and this was the right place, but I was dubious at the time. Thanks for the help.

This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards issues. The Microsoft Rewards program is a separate program, so we are not fully informed on their issues. You should try contacting their support team via the Microsoft Rewards website.
