    Xbox game pass FPS issues


    When I download a game from Xbox game pass I always have a issue with my FPS but when I play anything on steam it works fine with no issues at all. I recently played Grounded and this issue was there and it looks to play fine until you move or look around then the game becomes unplayable. I used to play State of Decay 2 with my friend and it would work fine but when I upgraded to windows 11 it was unplayable.

    my PC Specs

    GPU: RTX 3090

    Ram: 64GB

    CPU: Ryzen 9 5950x

    OS: Windows 11

    and I install these games on a SSD

    I have looked all over for a fix but every fix I do it just doesn't work.

    Thank you for sharing this information. Since your GPU usage is 0% when you play Game Pass games, I'm almost sure that they are not using the RTX 3090 to process the games.

    Would you please follow the steps on the website below to try to force the Xbox app and your installed games to use your dedicated Nvidia GPU?

    The games were working fine on windows 10. When I got windows 11 I had to pay for a new key to get the watermark off and I don't want to have to pay for another one for downgrading if I just will be upgrading again later on. Also when I go to downgrade it say downgrade to windows 7.

    Did this issue start to happen when you upgraded your Windows 10 to Windows 11? You were able to play Game Pass games with great FPS on Windows 10?

    You have a very good hardware on your computer, this should not happen at all. Are you able to downgrade to Windows 10 to see if the issue goes away?

    Hey man thank you for all your help but I figure out the problem. I was having this problem like 6 months ago and I was looking it up everywhere and someone said something about a polling rate on your mouse and to change it to 500 if it was at 1000 well mine was already at 500 so I didn't think anything of it. well I changed it to 125 and it is now working like it used to.

    Sorry it took so long to reply. I been at work and haven't had time to do anything on my PC

    Updated all my drivers and still nothing. I do know when I play these games my GPU % is on 0 and I have changed the settings in the NVidia Control Panel and nothing seems to work.
