Xbox Game Pass for PC: Still Can't Install Any Games That Require Administrator Approval

Honestly I'm not sure which of the following solved my problem. I have:

Reinstalled Xbox beta and Gaming services.

Turned off the "Using my sign-in info......" option under Settings - Accounts - Sign-in Options.

Signed in to my PC with a local account instead of a microsoft account.

Granted myself the ownership of the C:/Program Files/WindowsApps folder in its Properties - Security - Advanced Options tab.

Reset my Windows Store (Win+R, type wsreset.exe and hit enter)

Troubleshooted Windows Store Apps (Settings - Update & Security - Troubleshoot - Windows Store Apps - Run the troubleshooter - Then wait for it to finish)

The troubleshooting solved the problem, but I believe I had run the troubleshooter earlier and it didn't work at that time. Anyways, problem solved. Hope this helps anyone.

Can't install any games that have "Administrator approval required for installation" on the download page. How do I change this ?

Hello, I am having the same frustrating error when trying to install Game Pass games. After doing some testing I noticed that I can install games that don't say "Administrator Approval required for installation". I think there is a bug where the app is failing to request administrator approval so it just errors and doesn't install the game.

Games such as Sea of thieves or Broken age that don't require administrator approval install fine for me.
