I just got game pass for PC, and I can't install a game because it says that it is above my restrictions. I have tried for so long to figure out how to turn off parental controls. I am almost 40 years old, I want zero restrictions. Why is this so hard
to turn off? The birthdate on my microsoft account is correct. I'm ready to just cancel this if I can't install what I want to.

Hello, In this case, please check this link: https://account.microsoft.com/family/ If you are part of a family group, make sure to leave the family group in order to remove any parental controls, if you're not part of a family and you're still having an
issue with this, you can also check your privacy and online settings on Xbox.com/settings. Click on the Windows 10/Xbox one online safety tab and make sure that everything on that tab is on Allow, then scroll to the bottom and click on the submit button, close
the Xbox app, launch it and try to download the games that comes with your subscription!

I have found that if you add a password on the account or a pin, that sometimes this can accidentally be turned on
