    Xbox Game Pass for PC Outer Worlds Save Data Location


    I uninstalled The Outer Worlds on the Xbox beta app by right clicking on it on my left shelf, and clicking uninstall. However I noticed that no space was freed up by the uninstall. When I go to re-install the game I get error 0x80073cfc. I have restarted
    my PC and the Xbox beta app, and tried running the app as administrator. I am 99% sure that when I "uninstalled" the game, all the files for the game remained on my computer. I want to know where I can find these files so I can delete them. I have already
    checked C:\Users\user\Saved Games C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow and C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Packages.

    I found that by uninstalling a game by searching for it in the windows search bar, and selecting uninstall, actually gets rid of all the games files. It just seems that uninstalling a game through the Xbox beta app does not work as intended. Once again,
    I just need to know where the files for the Outer Worlds are stored so I can delete them.

    I tried to delete the folder by booting into Linux on a USB drive and deleting it. It did not let me. Is there any way for me to delete this folder?

    But in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps I found a folder that cannot be accessed by the system.
    This is a folder for the game.

    UPDATE: In C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Packages I found an empty folder for the game. But in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps I found a folder that cannot be accessed by the system. Trying to open in brings up

    this.

    When trying to delete the folder I get error code 0x80070780.

    Hi,

    Many Game Pass games have their saves in the AppData folder.

    I haven't tried Darksiders but I know this is where many saves go as the saves for The Outer Worlds for Game Pass are located there.
