    Xbox Game pass for PC on PC with multi user environment


    Hi all,

    Hope you're doing great!

    We have one PC running Windows 10 Home Edition 64bit and me and my son we have our own user profiles set up.
    We both have Xbox Game Pass for PC purchased and activated (own, separete accounts). Since this day we have been playing different games but now there's a change coming to that Xbox Game pass for PC on PC with multi user environment :) Now, the question goes like this:

    If we download the game once can we both use the same one game installation? The platform itself offers me only to install and the idea of download the game again in different directory feels somewhat foolish as the game already is downloaded once, hence
    the waste of disk space because of double installation...??? So how do we utilize the same installation for us both?

    Can anyone help us?

    no gold is not needed for the multi on pc

    only if your playing on xbox itself

    PC Games are in "Xbox Game Pass" but aren't in "Xbox Game Pass PC"

    but if the Games did not have builds for PC, I I would understand BUT games like Borderlands 2 or Minecraft have for PC ! However these games are in "Xbox Game Pass" but aren't in "Xbox Game Pass PC"
    Right ! Why they want sell the Xbox Game Pass to PC users ?

    Fable 3 is on PC. PC is a gaming platform, thus it is a multi-platform game just like I said. What does console exclusivity have to do with this?

    Ubisoft taken off of Xbox for PC?

    Now that you said, I really cannot find Assassins Creed Origins or other Ubisoft games if I search it on the "Xbox Game pass" tab of the Xbox app.

    Apparently they are only available for the console Game Pass or for cloud gaming for PC users that have Game Pass Ultimate.

    PC users that have PC Game Pass are not able to install and play them on the computer.

    Hi There,

    Xbox gold is for console users only, not required for PC. You will need game pass ultimate or gamepass pc to play gamepass games on PC.
