Xbox Game Pass for PC not allowing mouse settings per game with MICROSOFT MOUSE!

I just got an Xbox game pass trial with a new pc of hardware I bought and was excited to try it but to my dismay I can not change my mouse settings per game basis because I do not have access to adding the .exe to the mouse software.

I saw another thread where people were saying that it was Logitech issue but it is a Microsoft issue as well.

I have a Microsoft mouse using
Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software on
Microsoft Windows 10 playing Microsoft Xbox gamepass.

So is this issue going to be resolved at all as one of my mouse settings is defaulted to close program when in a windows environment and when I am in a game and accidentally hit that button it closes the game. Kind of a game breaking bug. All other games
I can remap that button on an application by application basis and solve the problem but not with Gamepass games since the .exe file is locked.

This is not an issue with gamepass, this is an issue with your Microsoft mouse working correctly with Windows 10, have you tried updating the drivers. I would also check in the windows support and the hardware support forums. Xbox support may
only be able to give you limited assistance with a PC issue.

Respectfully, this is an issue with gamepass. No other software loader has this issue. Steam, Epic, GOG, Origin, Blizzard, Uplay etc. In all those programs I can locate the EXE file, add it to the mouse software and adjust those settings per game. I can't
do it with gamepass as per the screenshot above.

I suppose if this is how it works then I will have to pass on Gamepass for now.

Unfortunately even if you take control of the WindowsApps folder, the files contained within are still encrypted and protected (or sand boxed) against other applications from reading them or making changes. I'm afraid it's not possible to add the executable
to other software programs, regardless of who makes that software.

Xbox allows keyboard and mouse, but it's the developer that builds it into their game. You can change pointer speed in settings, Devices & Connections, Mouse.

If it is a special gaming mouse with configurable DPI sensitivity or refresh rate, try to set the sensitivity to the lowest setting, either through a PC application for the mouse, or if the mouse has a switch use that.

Do you have another mouse you could try to use? The more basic the mouse is, the better.
