Xbox Game Pass for pc is not good

Xbox game pass for pc in an unoptimized, buggy, terrible option for pc RIGHT NOW. through my experience of three days using game pass, there is an astute amount of troubling things. one of these is the actual games being locked behind WUP (Windows app
protection so you cant get into the files) this is an issue because (for example) Metro Exodus uses the windows app version (the worst version of the game) which is locked under WUP. This causes the game to be broken and simple fixes like switching to DX11
does not work because it is locked to Dx12. (DX11 fixes a lot of the issues) Though the price seems like a good deal, i've found that most of the games on the game pass uses the windows app version which is the worst one. You may ask well why is this bad?
well in some instances a couple of games you can't change settings, your save files doesn't work, and most importantly corruption due to WUP. In part the whole app is a buggy mess where people reportedly can not even log in to their account to even play the
game, installations failing at the very end, and overall, not being able to play the games how they want to play the games. A couple of fixes do come in mind in which they can fix this gaming service to appeal to pc players such as the community. I believe
one way that microsoft can fix this is by Downloading the files as a regular exe and not a windows app as windows apps are usually the worst versions and are locked under WUP in hidden files as well as developers usually don't update the windows version of
a game. another way to make this seemless is to follow steam and give us the original game files and nothing more nothing less. Not hidden in a random directory located at the file location of your choice. Finally they need to fix the bugs surrounding the
whole app. Not being able to save a game is the worst part of this and losing hours of progress is irritating. at this point I'd rather crack the game because at least I'll know I can save my game and save my money.
