XBox game pass for PC, grey boxes and no pictures.

I keep getting game pass not working and it's gotten to the point I'm ready to just cancel it again and be done with it. I've fixed this issue but seems like it's not always the same fix that helps. I get grey boxes where the game pictures should be and any games I've downloaded will not launch. Yes I've already made sure both accounts (app+website) are both logged in. I've also done a reset for windows store which was said to also help correct xbox game pass app. I'm a live Twitch streamer and the recent games I was streaming were all on game pass and I can't access it at the moment. Any help would be appreciated so I don't need to cancel my sub.

Try resetting the Xbox app, Complete given below directions to reset the app in Windows

Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc

If that doesn't work, check for updates on windows update and Microsoft store app

Try logging into the console companion app and launch the games trough the sidebar in the My games section

Deactivate any antivirus or VPN software

Hi, no the install box is not greyed out. There is a red cross through it.

It says "You can play The Outer Worlds with XBox Game Pass for PC, or buy it to own."

I do not want to buy it. Just install and play it.

I'm not sure I follow you, but are you saying that on your XBL account page a grey box is visible on your page?

Could you provide any pictures, so it's more likely you'll receive the right answer?

The second picture actually shows that you own both Xbox game pass for PC and Xbox game pass ultimate because the Xbox game pass ultimate includes Xbox game pass for PC so there's nothing to worry about there.

Again, the picture on the dash and other games is perfect. In Witcher 3, it goes bright and grey. In Netflix, loads up great, then goes bright and grey. And this just started.
