EDIT: Not a solution, but I installed Wolfenstein II today, and that opens and runs without issue. Youngblood still not working. This error is obviously prevalent for many users across what seems to be just a handful of games.

Same problem. First game I tried to download gave me the same error, it was Crusader Kings III. I tried Europa Universalis and it worked. It's a really annoying problem and I don't know they can't fix it.

If I get the error again I am cancelling my subscription.

This isn't a solution, but I just wanted to respond to let you know that I am encountering the exact same problem as you with the game I am trying to play (Psychonauts 2), so you are not alone. I have done thorough searches as well and tried pretty much everything you outlined in your post to no avail. I was able to play the game fine about 12 hours before this post, but tried starting it up a couple hours ago and got the exact same error (0x80004005). I am starting to wonder if it is a problem on Microsoft's end. Their support is pretty terrible, but I've seen a bunch of posts pop up with this error recently, within the past week or so, so maybe if others have encountered this as well and speak up it will get noticed.

Yeah it does seem to be a prevalent error lately. Short of a PC reset, there's nothing else so far that looks like it might solve the issue without a fix or an update at Microsoft's end. I installed Wolfenstein II tonight and that works perfectly, so I assume this error is affecting just a handful of games. Here's hoping there's a solution soon...
