Xbox game pass for Android won't run games on my new phone.

In the Game Pass android app, cloud games are listed as "install to" with no option to play. This all started on my new phone.

I've tried all of the following in order:

Uninstalled ad blockers, uninstalled the game pass app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone, checked the app permissions, opened the app to check, had series x Bluetooth connected every time, force closed and reopened the app multiple times, tried with and without VPN, checked Google play for updates, reselected my country location in the game pass app settings, and tried with my GPS on and off.

I also can't load remote play on the Xbox app.

Both game pass and remote play work on my old galaxy s8 and galaxy tab a. Neither work on my galaxy s20 fe. My friend has the exact same phone, both work for him, and he's stumped as well.

How do I get game pass to work on my s20 fe? What haven't I tried yet?

I hate to say this, but I left straight talk, went to a new provider, got a new phone, and that's what fixed it. If you're on Straight Talk, you'll likely have problems with cloud gaming.

Revergence

Same issue, same phone, same carrier. Seems to work if I launch from the browser but the delay makes it unplayable. Have you gotten the Xbox app to work at all with cloud gaming?

I tried all 3 suggestions. Currently, the regular game pass app says "install to" for cloud games, and the game pass beta app has the "play" button dimmed for cloud games and doesn't work.

UPDATE JANUARY 31ST: In the Game Pass Beta app, some games say "install to" and some games have the "play" button grayed out. For example, "Among Us" and "Football Manager 2022" are labeled "install to", while "Outer Wilds" and "Skyrim Special Edition" have the "play" button grayed out. The regular Game Pass app says "install to" for everything.
