Xbox Game pass for £1 Is there a minimum number of months subscription or can you cancel...

Please before passing this as someone just wanting to use the system for £1 then run please read my full post as it is far from that situation. I pay my Live Gold yet only game very seldom these days.

Seeing as the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is such an amazing deal at £1 for the first 3 months then £10 after, i was wondering is there a minimum number of months subscription required?

For example if after the first month to 3 months i was barely playing any games,if at all could i cancel before the £10/month fee kicks in? Or would i need to ride the £10/month fee out for at least a year etc?

I know some people will look at this as someone just wanting to play a bunch of games for £1 then leave having basically paid nothing but i actually have been paying for Live Gold for years now and i barely ever play any games. I have played maybe one game
in the last year while still paying my subscription monthly so i have actually been paying all this time and not using it so the last thing i want to do is tie myself to a subscription fee that will end up costing me more than i am already paying after 3 months
and then have to pay that £10 fee for another 9 months costing me more than i am currently paying while rarely using the service if at all. I did look at the deal page in the small print and all i could find was conversion from your existing payments to Live
Gold being allowed for backdating as much as a maximum of 36months. I could not find anything about when you are allowed to cancel or any mention of minimum subscription times.
