Xbox game pass file verification

Hello,

I recently had to replace a hard drive on my computer. I cloned the drive and when I started xbox game pass, all the games were said to no longer be installed.

My question is, how do I verify the respective files so that xbox games pass recognizes them? GOG, Steam, and Epic had no trouble with any game installed therein, so the issue is specific to xbox game pass.

That said, if the games need to be reinstalled, then, disappointing though that may be, it raises another issue: How do I recoup the allocated drive space if the installs are locked behind and unrecognizable folder?

You assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The games will need to be reinstalled, to be able to do this you will need either to format the drive or take ownership of the windowsapp folder to delete it

if you had bought it through steam the files are visible and you can run a file verification tool on steam to check the files.

No no i'm using Xbox Game Pass so it doesn't matter.

All 360 games require a credit card to be on file for verification purposes. There is no way around that.
