Xbox game pass doesn't appear to stack

If I can recall correctly you cannot stack trial offers of things on top of a regularly bought version of something. Prepaid subscriptions cards can stack but the the trial and discounted versions do not stack. I think the one dollar one counted as a trial
and therefor when you tried to put an actual subscription on it because it was a trial it did not stack.

Let's try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE" animation loading
screen when you power it back up. then check it change if not

It is possible to stack gamepass. I would check your account to make sure it shows up in your purchase history. If it is there then I would reach out to support and request a call back as suggested by others.

of Game Pass using a pre-paid code? Is this correct?

If so, then the situation is normal as you cannot stack a pre-paid subscription onto an existing revolving subscription to extend your time. You would need to allow the revolving subscription to expire prior to redeeming the code for activation of the pre-paid
Game Pass code for 6 months. You can stack up to 36 months of Game Pass using pre-paid codes, to be more clear about that.

As you've indicated that you've have already redeemed the code to your account and can view it in your purchase history but do not see the time reflected in your account, we recommend that you
request a call back from Xbox Support so that they can look into your Microsoft Account and see what they may do to further assist you with this. Sadly, we here on the forums
lack the necessary tools to more directly assist with billing or subscription issues.

Unfortunately you're going to have to wait until your gold runs out because gold doesn't stack with game pass ultimate, it's the other way around
