Xbox Game Pass code expired

Hi, I bought a Xbox ONE X 31st December 2018, and day before yesterday (11.01.2019) tried to enter the Xbox game pass redeem code that i got with in the box on the XBOX ONE X console ,and got message that "Code expired" but still its expire date ends on
6/30/2019. I have no idea how come when its due date still log time to go and give message expired when i enter 1st time.

Xbox game pass codes are stackable,
You can stack up to 36 months for your membership this way

If you can try redeem the codes via xbox web page, log in and redeem code under profile. Also you can use the xbox phone app to redeem as well.

You can let your game pass expire and redeem code after.

The 3-month digital codes for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate do not expire.

Hi,

the codes for subs expire after 12 months.

I used the sale to get Game pass Ultimate and it shows 2025 - 1 as expiring date for the code.

I actually remembered another older 12 month XBOX Live subscription that I tried to enter as well. It says, "

Redeeming your Prepaid Xbox Live Gold 12 Month code will automatically convert to 4 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and will be added to your current Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account. By redeeming this code, you agree to this conversion. All conversions
are final; ratio subject to change. See xbox.com/gamepass If you choose not to redeem at this time, you can keep your code and redeem it prior to its expiration date, if any.

So, notice it says you can keep your code and redeem it prior to its expiration date.

But what I want to do is redeem it after my Game Pass ultimate expires. Assuming I will not want to pay for it after Sept 2020. Do I have to just hold on to all my codes and hope they don't expire?

Thank you for posting on the forums today. I'd be happy to provide some information.

Only the Xbox Live Gold subscription can be stacked up to 36 months. Unfortunately the Xbox Game Pass subscription cannot stack over 12 months.

You certainly can hold onto the second code and use it when the 12 months cycle expires. Prepaid codes do not have an expiration date. Only promotional codes usually have expirations dates for the codes.
