Xbox Game Pass charged me a day early.

Hi,

I had signed up for the free 14-day trial for Xbox Game Pass on March 20 2018 which would bring the 14 days to April 3 2018 - today. This was stated in the email sent to me when I signed up:

I didn't use the trial at all and almost forgot about it until it dawned on me last night that it would be charging me the next day. When I logged into my account I saw that it had already charged me, with the date being listed as "02/04/2018" - not "03/04/2018" as
the welcome email stated. I checked my PayPal account and didn't see any transactions, so I thought it was just an error and continued to turn off auto-renew and cancel my subscription.

However, I woke up this morning to see a receipt from PayPal for a transaction that went through on April 2nd, which again was not 14 days from my trial's initiation and not the 3rd which the welcome email stated would be when billing
would start.

Is there any way I can get this money refunded? I don't wish to spend money on something I will not be using especially when I was charged before I was told I would be charged.

Charged for something not purchased

I was charged for Xbox game pass the day it expired even though I had used a code before midnight for a year subscription to the game pass, I would like a refund of the 10 dollars that was charged to the card

you should have de activated auto renewal, you would have been able to use the gamepass till the end then it would just lapse.

This also happened to me. Yesterday I received an email from my bank charging me for my game pass subscription (not a trial). I was meaning to cancel reoccurring billing before it expired because I wasn't using it much, so I set up a notification for the day prior to the next charge (it was due January 23). I didn't think much of it then but this morning I got my reminder notification and realized it had in fact charged me 2 days early. Also, the page has updated and now the next charge is in February.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I wouldn't put it pass this guys to actually charge you early before you even get a chance to cancel their subscription only to get some more pennies out of you. Unbelievable. After this I will never leave reoccurring billing enable again just in case.

Same here. I've been charged for my games but not the console or extra controllers. Pre Ordered all at the same time early September. Makes me nervous as there aren't many days left for it to get to me... Really hoping it all goes through early tomorrow...
