xbox game pass catalog video should be of gameplay, not cinematic ads

Would be better to have the videos in xbox game pass catalog include gameplay. Rather, most seem to be just cinematic ads which show no gameplay. I find those unhelpful at best and purposefully deceptive at worst. They are not nearly helpful to know whether
I should tie up my house's internet bandwidth to download the game. So instead I have to go out of xbox game pass and find game play videos on YouTube or Steam.

And while it is not terribly difficult for me to go find stuff, it does take about 10-15 minutes and as a full-time working guy with a family, I maybe only have 1-2 hours for games many nights.

I find that rather than be bothered, I often just leave xbox entirely and go back over to Steam and find something on that system to play, until I have time and willingness to search around on internet.

Also, it hurts my perception of Microsoft brand. Feels like you are trying to manipulate me with an ad rather than really help me find somethignI would enjoy playing.

Isn’t there usually a section towards the bottom of the store page that has screenshots and gameplay videos? I don’t mind cinematic trailers as they do pique my interest in a title but I d9 agree its good to see gameplay. I do normally look on youtube
at either the IGN, Gameranx or Skill Up channel for a quick review of the game before committing anyways.

Agreed. I always feel like gameplay trailers and previews and actual gameplay videos are cooler than cinematic trailers, especially because they're showing you what you'll be seeing in-game. I don't see how cinematic ads are more enticing than showing
people how cool the game is, like isn't that the whole point of advertising, to hook people on the content they'll be getting?

A: Subscribers enjoy unlimited access to games within Xbox Game Pass catalog, until either the user's subscription cancels/expires or the game leaves the Game Pass catalog.

Q: Do I need an Xbox Live Gold Subscription to be able to use the Xbox Game Pass?

A: Users will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to access online servers and/or multiplayer features and functionality in Xbox Game Pass games. It is not required in order to use the Xbox Game Pass itself.

Q: If I download a game, can I access it after it leaves the catalog?

A: No, once a title leaves the Xbox Game Pass catalog, you will need to insert a disc, purchase a digital copy from the Xbox Store, or obtain some other entitlement (like a trial) to continue playing. Remember, Xbox will
notify users at least one month prior to a game leaving the Xbox Game Pass catalog. And, subscribers can purchase any Xbox One game in the Xbox Game Pass catalog for 20% off (or the best available discounted price) should they wish to continue playing a game
once it leaves the catalog – but only while it's still in the catalog. Once the title is gone, so is the opportunity to buy at 20% off!

And everyone says gameplay...that isnt really qualifying as gameplay. Mostly in game cinematics.
