    I bought a xbox game pass card for $44.99 dollars on SAM's Club. I had the receipt and the bill on my credit card statement showing my payment. When I enter the code on Microsoft.com/redeem say that my card is not activated. SAm's club told me they are
    not responsible for it. My questions is who is responsible. What happens now, because I already paid for something that is not working.

    Game pass cards are not gift cards. So no, you'll need an Xbox Gift card to buy in game items. :)
