    Xbox Game Pass (Beta) PC App Won't Permit Sign-On


    I recently purchased the Xbox game pass subscription. I downloaded and installed the app on my windows 10 PC but the next day I can't seem to sign in at all. When opening the app and pressing sign in either a grey box appears and never loads or nothing
    happens. The Windows Store works fine but the Xbox console companion app also doesn't work. I ran a DISM restore health check and scanned to get a CBS log but nothing has worked so far. I've reset/restarted/etc almost every Xbox app on my PC now like 4/5 times.
    Any help would be appreciated, I simply wish to play 1 game but unfortunately have to go through this app to do so. Also, upon the first installation (yesterday when it worked), it was impossible to install the game to my E drive (second hard drive not boot
    drive) so I'm not sure if this would have any impact on the app not connecting.

    It's available for the console through Game Pass, but not PC. So you won't find it through the Xbox beta app.

    So on your PC you need to make sure the
    game pass ultimate account is signed into the
    Microsoft store app, You might want to try installing the
    xbox(beta) app     on windows as well and try downloading from there.

    Not all of the game pass games between Xbox and PC are the same, the xbox(beta) app will show you all the available and installed windows game pass games

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    If i understand the problem, you want to buy them both an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play on their respective PC's ? Buy an Xbox Game Pass PC sub for each or a Ultimate Game Pass. Log their account on Xbox beta app on PC and buy them the correct sub.
    Or use xbox.com with their account correctly sign in and buy them Xbox Game Pass for PC.

    To access Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your PC, you will need to install the Xbox (Beta) app from the Microsoft Store. Once you have installed the app, sign in with the Microsoft account that you used to purchase your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

    If you have already installed the Xbox (Beta) app and are still having trouble accessing your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, there are a few things you can try:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to the Xbox (Beta) app with the correct Microsoft account.
    2. Check your subscription status by going to the Account tab in the app and looking for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate section. If your subscription is active, it should show the expiration date.
    3. Try restarting the Xbox (Beta) app and/or your PC.
    4. Make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for the games you are trying to play.
    5. If you continue to have problems, you can try contacting Microsoft support
