XBox Game Pass beta App stop PC from responding

Hi,

I've got a 8 Core AMD MSI gaming PC and since I subscribed to the Xbox game pass service my PC slow down upto the point where a hard reset to restart is the only option. When I use the resource monitor it says that the network service is using 95% of my
8gb ram.

If I pause the download after the reset my PC works normally. When game resume download it download at full speed (100 - 120Mb/s) then memory usage go up and PC becomes unresponsive...

If I hard reboot it does the same.

If left till next day, it needs hard reset but game is installed...

There are a few things. Recently, the Xbox (Beta) app was updated and removed many of the (Beta) tags from the app. So I would recommend you check for updates in the Windows 10 store by clicking the three dots in the top right of the store and clicking
Downloads and Updates then clicking Get updates.

The next thing I'd try if the update doesn't fix it, is a reset or repair on the app. If you go to Settings > Apps and then select the Xbox (or Xbox (Beta)) App and then select "Advanced options". From that page, I'd click "Repair", and if that's not available
"Reset". Testing with a reboot after each to see if it's improved.

Let us know if that doesn't fix the issue and we can do some further troubleshooting steps.

Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
need to have Windows update version 1903.

Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

I am downloading the games from the new Xbox (Beta) app on PC that you are able to access with the Xbox Ultimate game pass. I am downloading the games from this app from the range of games available from the Xbox Game pass.
