Xbox Game Pass app blank gray screen after signing in?

Doing all this on Windows 10 build 1903.

Since installing the beta Xbox app, it looks fine up until I sign in, at which point the app turns completely blank, just showing a dark gray screen with no UI elements shown -- all I can do at that point is move the blank window around, and close the app
from the task bar.

I've tried everything I can think of between un/reinstalling, running everything as admin, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this and had success resolving it?

Try disabling the ransomware protection in Windows Defender. That actually solved it for me. Funny how Microsoft creates problems for Microsoft.

In step 4 just flip the switch underneath "Controlled folder access"

Or you can just add the related EXE-file. For me it is:

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.GamingApp_1907.1001.11.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\app\Xbox.exe

I not even sure that it's the preview program at all. My screen now loads up to a blank black screen after the my games and apps logo repeatedly pops up and disappears till it finally disappears completely to a blank black screen. It only shows the logo
and none of my games and it also showed me sign in.

May i know if you already tried power cycling the console?

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again
