Xbox game pass and PC cross play on same account?

Cross-play between an Xbox One and Windows 10 PC is possible, but not all games are capable of this feature. You also cannot cross-play using the same account on two different devices, but it could be possible with you using your account on PC and a friend
using their own account on your Xbox. The cross play games are labeled as Xbox Play Anywhere games and most of them are included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, like Gears of War 5 for example.

If your account has your Xbox set as your Home Xbox, then it will share your games and subscriptions with other accounts, like a friends, on the same Xbox.

One the Xbox One platform, there is this functionality referred to as the
Home Xbox that allows the user to share not only his digital library but any Xbox subscription benefits he may have.

This would allow you to configure your siblings' console as your Home Xbox, and thus allowing him to play on his account from the Xbox One, and then you being able to play on your PC.

However, at this time, there is no info as to if such an option will be available at the time of release for the console. Due to this, we recommend that you visit the

Xbox Wire for all up-to-date Xbox info.

Hi, I have just signed up to the new game pass ultimate. Is cross platform play available for these games? Can I play on PC with friends who have the same game on Xbox One.

Also, if I have the same game through game pass on both xbox one and PC, do the saved games transfer from one to the other. If not, this should really be a feature

As long as the title is play anywhere or allows for cross platform in this case (PC / xbox) then yes, you can do that.

Yes, it is actually a feature available right now! On Xbox One, go to Settings>Account>Family Settings>Manage Family Members and add all of your loved ones! The same can be performed on PC through your settings.

This feature will share Gold and Game Pass so if you ever by chance have Game Pass Ultimate and you have a capable gaming PC as well, you can play any game that supports cross play between Xbox and PC such as Sea of Thieves with family and friends.

If the game is cross-play, then if you own the game, then you will need Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play with your Friend on PC. Since the game is available on Game Pass, then you will need Xbox Game Pass to play the game if you do not own it.
