And also i just checked, i can't pick champions other than i already have. So it doesn't work.

Oh, i didn't know that. But there is one more problem. My friend followed the same process. He has a logo indicating he has Game Pass linked to his LoL account, It's that yellow logo left of his name. I don't have any.

You don't see the champions in your inventory, you can just pick them in game, if that already answers your question

This means that it would be best to wait as of the moment and then sign out as well as sign back in on your Riot launcher.
