Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.



Upon reading the description you have posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein you are getting an error message saying that "c:\ProgramFiles. . . \ GameLaunchHelper.exe" path doesn't exist." When you try to open the Starfield game on your main user profile.



Common cause: There might be corrupted registry/system files on your main user profile.

Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.



For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:



• Have you already tried to run System file checker on your cmd through your main user profile already? And checked if it has the same behavior?

• Did you downloaded the Starfield game through the Microsoft Store?

• Have you tried to copy the game files to this specific location (c:\ProgramFiles. . . \ GameLaunchHelper.exe) and checked if the issue still persist?





In the meantime, we would like you to provide us with some answers first to the questions above. In order for us to provide you with a more accurate solution.

I would ignore microsoft support in general. They're pretty useless. The reason you can't find it is because the gamepass version uses a different file system than Steam. Game pass version does not have a direct installation location as it seems they split the game files into multiple folders that are conglomerated together with a launcher file. The closest you'll get to an actual game file is (install drive) >Xbox Games>Mount & Blade II-Bannerlord>Content>gamelaunchhelper
