Xbox game pass 1 month redeem not working

Please perform a powercycle on your console before attempting to redeem the code again.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work, please try redeeming the code on the website by signing in to https://redeem.microsoft.com.

Please make sure that you're signed in under the correct Microsoft account when you're redeeming the code.

From what i can remember reading, while you have game pass ultimate and you redeem 3 months xbox live, this would give you 1 months game pass ultimate.

Did he gift you ultimate game pass or 1 year of gold? Since there is a 1:1 conversion ratio for a normal gold or game pass to Ultimate game pass. For example if you were to redeem a 3 month game pass code while you have ultimate it would convert to a little
over a month in ultimate.

I'm hoping there would be an option to redeem rewards points for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, redeeming for gold and game pass will still work. If you've an active ultimate subscription, you will still get some months added to it but it will be less
than what you redeemed for via gold or game pass.

When renewing an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription it converts the three months xbox live to 1 month xbox live. You can wait untill the subscription has fully ended to redeem three months of xbox live. I recommend buying many months or a year of xbox
live then buying one month of game pass ultimate it will change the whole subscription to xbox game pass ultimate. This can only go up to 36 months
