Xbox game on windows pc

Discus and support Xbox game on windows pc in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I bought a forza horizon 5 game for my husband. It is a CD. Can he play this in a PC?     I bought a forza horizon 5 game for my husband. It is a CD. Can he play this in a PC? I read the description and it looks like you can but not sure.

    it is not the xbox version on the pc via windows store, it is the pc version via the windows/xbox app on pc, same as epic etc.

    any games on pc are pc versions not xbox console versions.

    ... Xbox Play Anywhere is an official Xbox emulator for PCs running Windows 10. Games that are also on Xbox and are going to play on PC are not a PC platform!
    Xbox Play Anywhere is NOT an emulator. The Xbox Play Anywhere games are compiled for the Windows 10 PC platform as well as Xbox. There is no emulation going on, which would unnecessarily slow down the games. They run natively on Windows 10, not an emulated
    Xbox environment.

    Hello Hydro,

    you cant play xbox games on a pc,what your friend does is playing GTA IV on PC,its the Games For Windows edition(PC Version).

    You can use your gamertag to play games for windows and earn achievements just like on xbox.
