  1. XBOX Game DVR quality question

I dont understand why, but every single game recording I make ater I record looks fine (720p presumably). The "original" video saves into my Game Clips under the name of the game it was recorded from, as in Destiny beta for instance, the video will simply
be called "Destiny Beta". Here is where the problem comes in. When I upload, rename, and save my game clip to OneDrive, an additional copy is made in game clips under the new name, I will use the name "Destiny Epic Battle" for example. This video is the same
length, but the quality is very noticably lower than the original saved clip "Destiny Beta" even though BOTH are recordings. This is true for EVERY single recording I have made. 720p recordings are fine with me, but how are the uploaded, renamed versions worse
than the original? If any of you have an original recording and also have a renamed, uploaded version, please watch them both consecutively and see if you notice this difference.

    :)

Game DVR Windows 10 Update, Microphone Quality now Poor

    Good Afternoon,

I'm having problems with the Windows Xbox One App when it was updated with the major windows 10 update last week on my laptop.

When I record games using the in game DVR the microphone quality has dropped significantly since the update. I've checked under Game DVR settings and the Audio Quality is set to 192 Kbps.

This is not an issue with the Microphone/Hardware but an issue with the App itself because when I record using other software the quality is outstanding, as it was with the Xbox One Game DVR prior to the update.

How can I fix the issue?

    Kind Regards,

    Sam.

  3. Gears Ultimate Game DVR Settings?

I have no idea why my Xbox One game DVR is so obsessed with auto-recording grenade tags in Gears UE and ignoring quality shots with snipe, torque, boom, etc. Is there any way to change the preferences for Gears UE as to what the game DVR will and won't
    auto record?

  4. XBOX Game DVR quality question

Hello friend, the problem you are having affects most players too. This is due to the compression of the video file when uploading, causing slightly downgraded video quality. If you have any more questions please refer yourself to the support page.
