hey

guys i wanted to ask a question

im getting an xbox one s

if i get fifa 18 and insert the disc to the console and i want to play offline (no live gold) will it download the 40 GB with internet or what?

and if i want to play online (with live gold) will it download the 40 GB?

please answer fast thanks!

Xbox vibrating when downloading a game

When you say downloading a game, do you mean installing from a disc or downloading from Xbox Live? If installing from disc, then there is a some vibration from the the spin of the disc when the game is installing.

Is my Xbox Installing or downloading updates?

I put my Titanfall disk in the drive around 10mins ago and it said Titanfall needed an update (810mb). What I can't work out is if it's downloading an update or installing the game I am at 10% now. For a 16GB game it sure does take a while to install, I
remember having similar problems at launch with Forza 5 and Battlefield 4.

So the question I am really asking is can you tell if the Xbox One is installing or downloading updates? Because all my Xbox says is "Installing" on the disk tile and "Installing" in my games and apps.

Hi,

All Xbox games need to be installed to the hard drive. If you're console is completely offline (not connected to Xbox Live at all), your game will only install entirely from the disc. This install is around 43GB. Should you later go online, you will be
required to download a game update. I'm not entirely sure what the size is for this game, but understand it is under 2GB.

Note: All Xbox One consoles need an initial system update, so you will need to connect your new console to the internet initially. When you have this update, you do not need to connect the console to the Internet again if you don't wish to. You do not
need Gold to connect your console to Xbox Live. Gold is only required to play online.

Are you installing on an xbox one or xbox360. If you have to keep clicking install it isnt fully installing.

Is the game still in the active download queue.

Have you tried reseting your xbox?

installing on my 360,when the game is fully downloaded,it downloads again! i reset my 360 same problem

check your Download Queue to see if it is still downloading/installing.

if it isn't in the Queue and it isn't in your installed games, on your Xbox go to the Xbox Store and search for the game there.

it should give you the option to either Play or Install the game

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your install.

Just to double check, are you playing a disc version of the game or a digital download?

If your game is still showing that it is just installing, you may want to try these steps on

Cancelling an Installation on Xbox One.

Once you've cancelled the install, try redownloading or installing the game.
