xbox game corrupted

i recently bought need for speed hot pursuit and mirror's edge from xbox market place but when the download finishes.. the games does not show up in my games and in the storage it says corrupted .. i tried clearing the systerm cache but still the same problem
.. i tried to download some random game demo and it worked perfectly ...

what to do?

i m located in united arab emirates and my xbox live account region is UK

Did you see if they were corrupted? I don't know to much about it, but have tried using a flash drive on my xbox and pc and my files always disappeared or were corrupted by using the xbox.

No, none of that worked. I only have one xbox live profile. The rest are just profiles on the xbox for my kids to play games. I did find a game that was corrupted. Could that be the issue? I deteled the corrupted file in the game. The corrupted file still
shows up in the system items under memory unit. Should I delete it?

but i was able to purchase the games . if it was region problem then i woulnt be able to purchase the games

 

Talk to your isp it could be a VPN on their side

If EA games tend to have region locks

If you are using a VPN or the website to bypass the error that would be why

Need for speed mostly for the cars and music

I'd imagine mirrors edge due to violence or distibrution rights

 

Anytime you try and download a triple a game you will have issues with region locks most likely

Anything with violence or religious topics is an instant region lock pretty much nowadays because content laws are different for every region

 

Demos rarely are region specific there isn't enough content to object to in them

 

so it means my money is wasted??

 

You will have to contact support in UK for a refund however its is up to the agent

FYI using a VPN is a violation of the terms of use any attempt to reroute access or get content you aren't supposed to isnt really allowed

 

For support you have to call by the region of your account which would mean longdistance charges you could try use but i doubt it

FYI currency isn't transferable between regions

For the best experience your account region should always reflect your actual region

 

You could try hardreseting your modem and router for 5mins by turning it off for 5mins before turning them both back on but most likely its a region lock error

Especially if you are using a vpn

 

i m not using vpn ..... my friend over here also had the SAME problem but for him whole downloading battlefield bad company .... he had the same problem but after trying to download it several times,, it worked

 

Bf bad company is region locked also he would've had to had matching account region and yes that is a confirmed region locked content due to the violence and certain subject matters in the game

Check if your ISP is using a VPN if so turn it off or provide you with a non vpn and match your account region accordingly

You can keep trying tonbypasss the region locks but it will cause more pain then it should since you are in an xboxnlive region
