    Xbox Game Corrupted my Console


    I purchased Forza Horizon 4 a few days ago for £25.00.

    I installed it and it does not work, at all. The introduction is extremely laggy, it freezes and crashes.

    Due to this, I wanted to contact Xbox as I spent 15 hours trying to fix this via looking at articles etc. No articles helped.

    Xbox support chat took 7 hours to connect me to a live agent who just sent me the same article I had been looking at which I clearly stated and we had a 1.5 hour conversation trying to fix this with no luck.

    I would like some help, please since i do not want to wait another 7 hours for support.

    The game is digital, not on a disc.

    My Xbox just refuses to redownload it saying it's corrupt even though I have deleted all the game data off my console.

    What console are you using? Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

    What storage device do you use to store your download games? The internal storage of the console or an external USB device?

    Is the savegame showing it's corrupted, or is the actual game installation corrupted?

    Hi!

    Probably there is some data corrupted during installation. You will have to manually delete the corrupted data through the "Storage" menu, then clear
    the cache     from the console and try to install the game again.
