    Hi Guys,

    me and my friends are having some issues with our Captures, it appears that the comments, views and like features have been removed?

    can anyone help? Me and my friends like to comment and keep track of views on our content and this is seriously effecting our fun when playing its almost “whats the point of recording anything” if we cant share and comment with each other?

    is this some sort of bug? It only seems to of been and issue since the new dashboard launched.

    Please help we want to get back to it as soon As possible.

    Sadly, so far it is not possible to disable this button but a workaround that might help you is to disable the GAME DVR.

    To disable Xbox Game DVR on your Xbox One, hit the Xbox button and head to Settings. Joystick down to ‘Preferences, then select ‘Capture & share’. Toggle the first option, ‘Allow game captures’, from ‘Captures by me or games’ to ‘Don’t capture’ to disable Xbox Game DVR. Alternatively, you can toggle this option to ‘Captures by me’.

    I was doing the same thing. I used my Xbox as a game capture device so that I could stream that to the console companion and have OBS capture the console companion for Mixer. I didn't have money for a capture device, so I was pretty disappointed to find
    I couldn't capture my games through my Xbox anymore.

    my point was since xbox game bar is capable of screen capture can I just have it capture my screen i.e. just as a screen capture to show for instance where saves and files are or just screen capture on windows explorer to show where to move files...
    etc not just for games

    What I do is capture my game with Xbox capture . Then Go to my captures on xbox app or xbox.com. Download them to my pc and edit them then put them on youtube . Easy way to by pass everything complicated.
