Xbox game captures not showing up from a couple of months ago.

I’ve recently been looking through some of my captures when I come to notice that only 3 months worth of captures are showing up. I’ve been making captures on my account for more than 3-4 months and I remember it clearly. I scroll all the way down in my
xbox and the xbox app then I see captures that are only from a couple months ago but I have had way more in the past. If someone could help me it would be much appreciated <3.

It sucks that things get deleted if not shared publicly after a certain amount of time. Maybe microsoft will consider changing it idk

In the Xbox App or on the console, do you have it selected for "On Xbox Live" and not just looking at what is locally captured?

If you performed a factory reset or something happened a few months ago where space was cleared up, it might have removed them locally, but it shouldn't removed them from Xbox Live after a few months, unless the volume of captures is very high. I'm showing
captures on my Xbox Live back to 2013.

Does it also only show the limited captures on account.xbox.com click on "Profile" then "Captures"?

Clips and screencaps will be automatically deleted after a certain time if you don't share them to your feed or upload them to OneDrive. It's happened to me a couple times and I just have to remember to not let my clips get to old before I get around to
sharing them.

im having the same problem i tried signing in and it shows an old email from like a year to two years ago i have a new that xbox gave me a couple months ago not sure whats going on?
