    Xbox Game Bar Won't Launch


    About a month ago my Xbox game bar wouldn't launch. I have tried just about everything to fix it. My PC is up to date (I'm running Windows 10). My Xbox Game Bar is up to date. I have all the settings on in the gaming tab in setting>Game Bar. I have went into the app settings of game bar to repair and reset and even recently tried to terminate to see if any of those would work. After I try something new I always reset my computer and still nothing. Not a clue what's left to try.

    May I know if you already tried reinstalling the game bar using a powershell command?

    Right-click on the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the pop-up menu.

    Copy and paste the following command in PowerShell and hit Enter to uninstall the Game Bar from your system.

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

    Now head over to Microsoft Store and search for Xbox Game Bar and install it now

    If yes and the issue persists, what about deleting registry keys related to the game bar?

    1. Press “WIN+R” key combination to launch RUN dialog box then type regedit and press Enter. It’ll open Registry Editor.

    2. Now go to following key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

    3. Click on GameDVR key and in right-side pane, select all existing keys and delete them.

    Restart your PC and try again
