    Xbox Game Bar used to record but now the buttons are greyed out.


    Basically the title,

    I have even factory reset my PC and everything,

    I've had no hardware changes,

    Im on Windows 11,

    I really need this feature,

    It's been ages (like a few months atleast) and i haven't found a fix

    Please help me

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's see what we can do about that here.

    Have you tried these steps?

    Close the game.
    In the search box on the Windows taskbar, type and then select Task Manager.
    Select More details.
    In the list of running processes, select the Broadcast bar server (bcastdvr.exe) process (if it's still there), and then select End task.
    Restart your game and try recording again.

    I have tried what you said and there is no bcastdvr.exe

    I have also looked at the site you sent but none of the fixes have worked

    I tried to record VALORANT just now, and it was still greyed, with the screenshot button.

    It has worked before on VALORANT, before I factory reset my PC from cloud, and it is in the captures folder.

    I succeeded to capture XBox Game Bar config display by snipping tools, but why can I do that?

    The second, but I mean. The recording button (when you open the Game Bar is greyed out?

    Game FPS is horrible when in full screen, restarted to see if it would fix and now xbox game bar captures is broken.
