    XBOX Game Bar Screen Capture


    I was just playing SpongeBob Battle For Bikini Bottom on my Steam. i decided to start a recording to make a video for my YouTube channel. I opened up XBOX Game Bar but saw my Screen Capture Button look darker than usual. I clicked it and there was no recording at all. I repeated this process over and over but it wasn't respoding at all. Can someone help?

    Can you use x box game bar to screen capture?

    my point was since xbox game bar is capable of screen capture can I just have it capture my screen i.e. just as a screen capture to show for instance where saves and files are or just screen capture on windows explorer to show where to move files...
    etc not just for games

    No, screens and videos need to be captured via Xbox or the Xbox Game Bar on PC, otherwise the Xbox Live feed would be overloaded with memes and GIFs.

    the xbox game bar only can mae screenshots of the programn your using so the bottom pat of the screen will not be captured at all
