    Xbox game bar Party problem


    When I click the start party on my Xbox game bar, it says "Something went wrong with your party. Try again later" This has been going on for over a month. Does anyone have a solution?

    Xbox App on PC Party Muted?

    if you are using game bar sometimes it will do that when the bar is closed while playing a game or doing anything else. i think your best bet for a party would be to use xbox console companion. i have yet to have a problem with party chats when using that.

    In the morning I was able to install correctly xbox game bar app but party feature still missing.

    Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

    To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

    From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

    Can't Get Party Invites on Console Companion

    I believe they're remove Party from the companion app and moving it to the Xbox Game Bar (Win+G). Once you open Game Bar be sure to check if the option to receive Xbox One party/game invites is turned on.

    To start a party on Game Bar, you'll have to create a new message and add friends in it and click on the Headset icon on the top right.
