Xbox Game Bar overlay theme and Xbox logo

Discus and support Xbox Game Bar overlay theme and Xbox logo in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I might be the minority here but I wish the Xbox game bar had better theme/colors/icons to match windows 11 style and Microsoft fluent design system....     Xbox Game Bar overlay theme and Xbox logo


    I might be the minority here but I wish the Xbox game bar had better theme/colors/icons to match windows 11 style and Microsoft fluent design system.

    The most basic example is the Xbox Logo that does not match the new windows 11 icons and the black of the top of each tool window should be #191615 and not #000000

    Moreover, I am not saying Xbox should become windows 11 but it should leverage the good stuff and if Xbox has present in Windows 11 it should adopt the theme/colors/icons, etc.

    To sum up, I really like the new Fluent Design System it is easier for my eyes to look at and read content, it is very aesthetic and in general, the animation & sound make the overall experience much better and I just wish we could get more of it on the Xbox and like I said above I think the first thing to start with is the logo that matches the old Windows 8 flat design

    xbox game bar captured video doesn't show application's icon

    the logo might be an overlay from the program, the xbox gamebar will only capture the window or fullscreen application. it does not capture overlays all the time.

    I tried to restore down and maximize the CAD window, to see if its worked but

    When it goes restore down (the window is not fully maximized) the xbox game bar can capture (the CAD logo remains blank).

    When it goes maximized, the xbox game bar capture nothing, error 0x82323007 always occurs :/

    I updated and reset the apps and it still didn't work. Forgot to mention that I was talking about Nvidia In-Game Overlay. Xbox Game Bar works perfectly fine, it's just the Nvidia In-Game Overlay that doesn't work properly.

There could be things to be consider if the separating audio track from a game clip of recorded on Xbox Game Bar would be released. However, if you would like to request such feature, you may submit one to the Team Xbox: Xbox Support.



    Regarding your question about using Xbox Game Bar outside of overlay mode, unfortunately, it is not possible to use Xbox Game Bar without it being in overlay mode. The overlay mode is designed to provide quick access to Xbox Game Bar features while you are playing a game.
