Xbox Game Bar Only Opens Captures and Audio

I recently re downloaded Windows 10 to fix an error and now when I open the game bar all that opens is the captures and audio widgets the menu where you can select what widgets to display is not there and I have found nothing in settings causing this issue.
It is no different in a game than it is on the desktop.

The fix I found for a new build I was working on was to install
Gaming Services from the Microsoft Store:

It seems that it may not download/update by default.

Same problem. No friends list, no performance metrics. Tried reinstalling all the apps (except game bar because apparently that's impossible to uninstall).

No joy.

I reset the game bar but still the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app didn't help either and I am up to date

Did you try to repair or reset the GameBar via Settings ->
Applications ->Xbox Game Bar -> Repair Button or Reset Button?

If it doesn't change anything, I invite you in a second time to check that your Windows Update is well installed.

I managed to fix this today, I had to go to the Microsoft Store, go to the store page for Xbox Game Bar and update it. I had tried updating it through Downloads and Updates, which didn't work, but apparently doing it through the store page did the trick.
