xbox game bar on pc isnt launching games

1. Make sure you have the latest updates on your Windows device. Press the Start button , then choose Settings. Go to Update & security (Windows Update on Windows 11), then select Check for updates.

2. Check your Game Bar settings. Press the Start button , then choose Settings. Go to Gaming > Xbox Game bar, then turn on Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar.

3. When playing a game, press the Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar. Select the Enable gaming features for this app to record gameplay when trying to use gaming features such as broadcasting or capturing.

4. Your game may be running in full-screen mode. See the “How do I record a game if it’s in full-screen mode?” section, above.

5. Make sure you’ve updated your graphics drivers.

6. Try choosing a different display option for your game, such as borderless windows.

7. The game might be blocking custom keyboard shortcuts. See the “Why don't my keyboard shortcuts for Game Bar work?” section, below.

8. A small number of PCs and accessories don’t support the Windows logo key. Check your device manufacturer’s website for more info.

9. If your keyboard doesn’t have the Windows logo key built in, create a custom keyboard shortcut to open Game Bar. Press the Start button , select Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game bar, and then enter a new shortcut.

ms-settings:appsfeatures doesnt bring up any options to reset game bar.

the mic works fine when game bar isnt in background.

game bar isnt listed in apps and yet searching in store shows game bar as installed.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble using the recording clips with the Game Bar on your PC.

Not only that, but I would like to suggest some potential fixes, please test the recording after performing each one.

A. Press the Windows key and type Game Bar, then right click on it and click on “app settings”.

Then click on “repair” and “reset”.
After this, restart your PC before trying again.

B. Open a new PowerShell window as administrator.
Then copy and paste the following command:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

Restart your PC after running the command, open the Microsoft Store and install the game bar from there.

C. Open the Run window (shortcut is Windows key + R), type regedit and hit enter.

Go to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

Click the GameDVR folder and delete everything listed there except the file that says “Default”.

Restart the PC and try recording again.

Hello there Khaji, Thank you for the Quick respond, i sadly did not notice the Comment until now.

The Problem "is" on the PC!! i can't figure out since the Re-Launch of the new app, on how i get to the Editor mode.
What app am i suppost to use on PC? I record some of my Gameclips using the Build in App 'Xbox Game Bar.
But i fail to locate the Option to trim in Either the "Xbox Game Bar" and the New "Xbox" app.
