Xbox game bar not letting me add someone as friend

Kindly repair Xbox Game Bar by following the steps below:

Windows Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for "Xbox Game Bar" > Advanced Options > Repair > Restart your PC.

Or you can also add someone as a friend through the Xbox App.

To add Friends thru xbox press the xbox button to bring up the guide. Tab over to the Friends tab and at the bottom will be a “Find Someone”. Enter your PC xbox gamertag, must match exactly, select the profile and add friend.

To add a friend using Gamebar on Pc here is a link that gives you the steps to do so.

You could add friends on the Xbox App for windows. On the start page, on the right side, is a tab that should show your current friends. Above that is a search bar to type gamertags in. Type in the gamertag and hit the magnifier glass. Hit "Add Friend" and
viola!

It won't let me add u because there is a glitch with my Xbox where I try to friend someone, it says my list is full, but it's really not.

Yeah I've tried the Xbox Game Bar app, if I try to send a message it says "Something went wrong, try again later" and if I try to add a friend it won't let me.

When I try using the Xbox app on PC it won't even let me browse the community tab and everything I boot up it has a notification to change my Privacy settings even after I change them, reboot, logout, login.

With the app on Android I get an error icon when I try to add a friend or send a message.
