Xbox game bar is not launching.

Game Bar does show as running in task manager when I use one of the shortcuts but the program does not actually open so there are no error messages to diagnose the issue. If I end task to close Game Bar then try a shortcut again it does show again on task manager.

Also, when you click on it to open, does it show on Task Manager? Please go to start > search and click on task manager. Then try to open Game Bar and see if it appears on the task manager, please.

Please try to register Game Bar again:

First, see if Windows is updated: Open Settings > Update and security > Windows Update > Check for updates. Install any optional update too.

Then, go to start > Type PowerShell > Right click it and select “Run as administrator” > Type the following command:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your computer and see how it goes. Let me know about the result.

It seems that you almost tried all troubleshooting steps to fix this issue, right now the best option would be perform a clean boot for your PC creating a bootable USB drive with the media creation tool or any third program like Rufus.

If you're able to install Windows 11, please try installing that system instead:

If not, create the bootable USB drive with the Windows 10 ISO:

In case the latest windows update is the one causing the issue with your specific hardware, try making the bootable USB drive with the previous Windows 10 21H1 ISO:
