    I recently switched to destiny 2 on pc through the xbox game pass and i use the xbox app on pc in order to join parties. I get the game invites to pop up on my xbox game bar but when i click on them it only give me the option to do cloud gaming and to stream destiny 2 to my xbox despite the fact the game has cross play enabled. I was wondering if its possible to use one of the invites to join the game on my pc while my friend is on xbox or did they not make it possible for these game invites to work while on 2 separate platforms.

    I dont get party invites on my Xbox game bar - PC VERSION

    Xbox companion app is discontinued, and the "Party Invitations" and "Games" notification settings are nonexistent in the Xbox PC app. Settings for invites and messages are all on the Game Bar app for PC.

    You'll just have to make sure these settings are checked after reinstalling the game bar @ (Game Bar)Settings>Notifications>Xbox Social>Notify me when I'm invited to a party or multiplayer game

    In the Xbox console companion app on my PC, there is no option for voice invites like on my phone, I get the invites through game bar but still nothing through the Xbox console companion app

    If you have the latest update, then party invites don't go to the Xbox Console Companion app anymore, and they go straight to the Game Bar. Same for party chat on the PC.

    To access the Game Bar, just press the Windows button and G at the same time, you should be able to see your invites there.

    I believe you have to add your friend in-game with his Bungie name and then make the in-game invitation to join the group.

    I can't hear anything when I'm in an Xbox Party on PC

    I have the same issue, if I force quit the game bar and relaunch it then I invite someone who is a XBOX user it will work but if I add a PC user it does not work for them. Also, if I force quit the app and the xbox user invites me it does not work same
    if the PC user invites me. The issue seems to be with the PC app.
