Xbox Game Bar Invites Not Working

Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums and providing information regarding the troubleshooting you have already attempted. Before I provide possible fixes, can you please let us know if this seems to be an issue only while trying to play Forza Horizon 5? Or is this an error you seem to be receiving with any Xbox games?

You may attempt these steps to see if it resolves the issue;

1) Uninstall and Reinstall Xbox related apps. This will go beyond Forza Horizon 5 and the Xbox Game Bar and seek out any Xbox apps you currently have installed on your device. To do this, selected the Windows key and X at the same time then go to Windows Powershell (Admin). Once you have the Powershell window open, please copy and paste the command below...

get-appxpackage *xbox* | remove-appxpackage

Once all the apps have uninstalled, you will have to reinstall them through Powershell once again. You can reopen Powershell using the steps above and once you have the window open once more, copy and paste the command below...

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *xbox* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”

Xbox companion app is discontinued, and the "Party Invitations" and "Games" notification settings are nonexistent in the Xbox PC app. Settings for invites and messages are all on the Game Bar app for PC.

You'll just have to make sure these settings are checked after reinstalling the game bar @ (Game Bar)Settings>Notifications>Xbox Social>Notify me when I'm invited to a party or multiplayer game

They removed the option to receive party and game invites in one of the recent updates. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. But I use Game Bar for invites now; it works the same.

Are you trying to accept the invite through the Xbox Console Companion App or the Game Bar? I don't think that invites in the Console Companion App work anymore, though I might be wrong on that. Do you have the game already launched when you try to accept
the game invite?

My XBOX NAT type is Open and Connected.

As i explained earlier, Multiplayer works. The GAME BAR DOES NOT RESOLVE THE INVITES OR JOINS CORRECTLY.
