Xbox Game Bar Capture Greyed Out

You can try some of these steps to see if they help:



- Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date. You can check for updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

- Check if you have any third-party software that might interfere with the Xbox gamer bar, such as antivirus, screen recording, or game optimization programs. If you do, try disabling them temporarily and see if the problem persists.

- Reset the Xbox app by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox > Advanced options > Reset. This will delete the app's data and settings, but not your games or saves.

- Reinstall the Xbox app by going to Microsoft Store > ... > My Library > Xbox > Install.

Please double check if your game bar and all capturing settings are enabled
Open Windows Settings > Gaming > Captures

If yes, when you open game bar the capturing button is greyed?
Or what's happening exactly?
Please attach an screenshot (don't forget to hide personal info)

btw the answer is related to windows game bar right? when i press windows key + G in capture area all buttons r grey excepts mic button that is the problem.

I have 2 GPU's, i use 2 gpu's in my system but works the same for igpu too. this way you can select which gpu to use for the program

Make sure to select your proper gpu from the list.
