Xbox Game Bar, cant hear other players in party.

So I'm sure you are familiar with the Xbox game bar or have at least heard of it on Windows 10. They recently had an update to the game bar that just changed it completely and at first I was super excited to see all the new features and I noticed how they
added a party app into the game bar so you don't have to launch the Xbox console companion every time you wanted to talk to your friends on Xbox. Well I have had an issue with this, when I use the new system I cannot hear my other friends in the party talk
but they can hear me. I don't understand why or how I'm supposed to fix this. If I use the Xbox console companion and join a party through there everything is just fine. If you have any idea how to fix this please let me know, I am aware that this whole new
system is still in the beta development stage but I was super excited about having this feature and I wanted to try it out.

Hi I've tried these but none are working. It says im in the party and talking but the other players who are on xbox one cannot hear me and i cannot hear them either. In my party it says they are not even talking.

sorry to hear. Please take a look at
"Troubleshoot audio in parties" and if this do not help try
"different audio formats"

Call of duty modern warfare. We can hear eachother fine in party chat but when we have another player that has ps4 and try to switch to game chat we can each talk and communicate with the third player but cant hear each other anymore.

You may fail to hear the Xbox Game Bar party chat if the Game Bar is outputting audio to a different device than your headset. In this context, setting the headset as the output device in the Game Bar settings may solve the problem.
