Xbox Game Bar Audio Glitching

Hi all, I am using Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10 to record gameplay, and having audio trouble.

Although I don't hear anything wrong while playing, the recorded video files often have random glitch sounds like this video (embedded on one of my tweets):

It doesn't seem to depend on the background environment or length of videos.

I have tried some solutions:

- With Captures setting, switched the sound quality, the video frame late, and video quality to the lowest: 96 kpbs, 30 fps, and Standard

- Close and end all tasks other than the game

- Disable the microphone

But I have got no improvement.

Is there anyone here who can help me?

Both Windows and Xbox Game Bar were not at the latest version, so I updated them. In addition, I uninstalled Dell SupportAssist Remediation just in case, because it was causing CPU spikes.

After that, I recorded videos for several hours and there is no problem with audio so far!

Xbox Game Bar offers the highest quality of image, so I am glad that I can keep using it.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue, could you check to see if you have the latest Windows Update, or if Xbox Game Bar itself needs an update?

Does your graphics card come with its own recording software too? If so, do you still get the same audio glitches when you use that to record gameplay?

With your headset attached, press the glowing “Xbox” button
Navigate to the “System” tab
Select “Audio”
Adjust the “Headset chat mixer” option
- Slide the bar left to favor game audio
- Slide the bar right to favor chat audio
