XBOX Game bar at 5 minutes but recording only 30 seconds

I've got the 1 second issue with "Xbox record that" but also when I ask it to record the previous 5 minutes, it will only record 12 seconds , the same happens with 30 seconds, two minutes and so on, what do I do!????

snap the dvr to the side of the screen, then you can record between 30 seconds and 5 minutes at a time, xbox record that command only records past 30 seconds as a way of recording an epic moment. remember to switch between programs you double tap the xbox
button on the controller.

brandi when you say Xbox Record That it only records the last 30 seconds. However you can say xbox snap Game DVR and the select up to the last 5 minutes to be captured

Yep, same issue here.

It was advertised as a 5 minute gameplay record and I only get to record 30 seconds

I'm never sure when it really tsarted to record also

Actually it is the last 5 minutes of OFFLINE and ONLINE on a continuous loop... sort of like a DVR box... and no need to start it or end the recording... its automatic... and can only be edited post game or paused mid game....

the 30 second clip is something different... lets say you just sniped the pilot out of the chopper on BF4.... you can say XBOX RECORD... it will save the last 30 seconds from when you asked it to record to a separate file..where you can play with it later...
