Xbox Game Bar and its issues

Before you follow through with the re-installation, can you please post a screenshot using the snipping tool on your device (Windows Key + Shift + S) of the error you are receiving or any images that will help us assist you further? Please be sure to cross out any personal information such as your username, any payment methods, address, etc.

Thank you for your response. Can you please confirm if you have run a Windows update or re-installed your Game Bar as mentioned in your opening post? Before we can assist further, we will need to know if you are receiving error codes or error messages with the issue you are receiving.

Final results: I can't uninstall Xbox Game Bar, its a app that came with windows, so..... i ended up on the same, delays on my invites, and now i can only join my friends thought their profiles.. Kinda disappointed.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. To confirm, is the game bar still crashing on top of not receiving any game/party invites? Are you receiving any error messages when the game bar crashes? I would like to know more about other errors you are receiving if possible.

In the meantime, let's try to resolve the error of not receiving game/party invites. If you have not done so already, please make sure that you have fully updated your PC with all viable updates. With steps on how to do this, please visit: How to get software and driver updates for Windows devices and select "Check for the latest Windows 10/11 updates".

I know you have mentioned that you have attempted to repair the app, but if you have not done so already, let's also try to reset the application. This will cause you to lose some data such as browsing history, cookies, etc.

Reset the Xbox App

1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
   
2. Select the app you want to fix.
   
3. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.
   

If this does not resolve the error, let's also check to make sure that notifications are enabled in case a previous update disabled this feature automatically.

Enable Notifications

1. Select Start > Settings > System
   
2. Under System, select Notifications
   
3. Confirm that your notifications are enabled. You may also want to confirm that notifications are also enabled for all Xbox related applications under the Notifications from apps and other senders.
   

Please let us know if any of these troubleshooting tips resolve the error you are receiving. If not, you may respond back to this thread anytime with details regarding the other errors that you are receiving. Any error codes will help us look into the issue further.
